Seattle is NOT supposed to look like this.

The pictures somehow were placed in reverse chronological order. So far, we have recieved 9.5-inches of snow at our house this weekend and add that to the 3-inches left over from Thursday and we have over a foot of snow on the ground at our house. Pluse, it's snowing again. Usually, that would be fine. But, Seattle had NO snow plows, de-icer, or salt for the roads. Basically, the city has shut down. Our offices are closed tomorrow and Kelly's jury duty has been cancelled. (She was summoned for jury duty starting tomorrow).
It's crazy! We're getting tired of sitting in our house. I am finding out that I am not a home body. We attempted to go on a walk, but we don't have the proper snow gear so it quickly became miserable.

Snow day = time to screen print Christmas presents & sew, right? Seriously though, stay safe. I can't believe how much snow you've gotten now. Looks like a photo my dad sent me last year of his backyard that made me feel so happy to be in nice warm Seattle...Still. We had 23 mph winds in negative degree weather yesterday and we were out trying to do Christmas shopping. That was a bit painful.

Wow at least she got her jury duty cancelled but YES isn't this nuts. We are loving it but not so much anymore....ready to be able to go out and DRIVE to our heart's content.
